The MacBook is a line of Macintosh notebook computers designed, manufactured and sold by Apple Inc. From May 2006 to February 2012. A new line of computers by the same name was released in 2015, serving the same purpose as an entry-level laptop. If you are a road warrior - you should probably get an Macbook Air or one of the latest new thin Macbook laptops. However, if this is for the family or your grandmother and you just want it to last a long time. This is the Macbook for you. But it will likely be discontinued fairly soon since this model has been in production since 2008!
